Job summary

OWT Global LLC is seeking an experienced UAS Airspace Integration System Field Service Engineer to support UAS operations and low-altitude airspace management at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), VA. This on-site role requires approximately 25–35% travel to other DoD/USAF locations for site surveys, integration, training, exercises, sustainment, and system support activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with UAS and/or Counter-UAS systems.
• 5–7 years in flight test engineering, UAS testing, or aerospace systems validation.
• Experience with telemetry systems and flight test instrumentation.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with technical documentation and test reporting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UAS systems and supporting infrastructure at JBLE.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system integration issues.
• Support integration of UAS platforms with external airspace services and data feeds.
• Assist with real-time airspace coordination and deconfliction efforts.
• Coordinate with government personnel, airspace managers, and users to ensure safe operations.
• Provide reach-back support and interface with engineering teams for issue resolution.
