Job summary

OWT Global LLC in Tampa, FL seeks a seasoned UAS Airspace Integration System Field Service Engineer to support UAS operations and low-altitude airspace management at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. This on-site role requires 25–35% travel to DoD/USAF locations for surveys, integration, training, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Experience with UAS flight test engineering, UAS testing, or aerospace systems validation.
• Experience with telemetry systems and flight test instrumentation.
• Strong data analysis, data collection, and visualization skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with technical documentation and test reporting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UAS systems and supporting infrastructure at JBLE.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system integration issues.
• Assist with real-time airspace coordination and deconfliction within JBLE's operational area.
• Coordinate with government personnel, airspace managers, and UAS operators.
• Provide technical reach-back support and interface with engineering teams for issue resolution and system updates.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and logs.
• Deliver user training and assist in developing SOPs.
• Support site surveys, installations, integration activities, testing, and sustainment at JBLE and other locations.
