BakerRipley in Corpus Christi is seeking an Early Care and Education Specialist to strengthen TRS partnerships across eleven counties by coaching providers, delivering trainings, and guiding program quality improvements.

You will recruit, support, and mentor child care providers to meet TRS certification standards, with hands-on coaching, on-site visits, and resource sharing to elevate early learning for children and families.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent with specified hours).
• 18 credit hours in ECE and 12 in child development required for the second option.
• Associate’s degree with two years director experience in an ECE program; TRS accreditation preferred.

Responsabilidades

Join BakerRipley’s Coastal Bend team as an Early Care and Education Specialist and make a meaningful impact across an eleven-county region by strengthening the quality of early childhood programs and provider partnerships. In this dynamic, relationship-focused role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner within the Texas Rising Star program, recruiting and supporting child care providers through hands‑on coaching, technical assistance, and delivery of impactful trainings. You’ll conduct on‑site visits to mentor and guide providers toward meeting TRS certification standards while assessing needs, sharing resources, and distributing developmentally appropriate materials that enhance classroom environments. By building strong, collaborative relationships and delivering high‑quality support, you’ll help elevate early learning experiences for children and families. Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science; OR
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with at least 12 credit hours in child development; OR
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with two years of experience as a director in an early childhood program, with preference given for required experience with a provider that is accredited or TRS certified.

Experience

• 1 year of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a childcare, Early Head Start, Head Star or prekindergarten through third grade school program.
