Job summary

Ruan is seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Supervisor in East Hartford, CT, on-site. The role leads a team to manage dedicated contract accounts, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements in safety and efficiency.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with customers, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, training, and productive teamwork. Schedule is Monday through Friday with day shift and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics or related field.
• 3-5 years of transportation leadership experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
• Experience in transportation and 2 years supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team through effective communications, training, coaching and rewarding.
• Manage operations to achieve key performance goals and improve revenue and costs.
