Job summary

AECOM seeks a Lead/Trainer to manage shift personnel in a 24/7/365 traffic operations control room onsite in Omaha, NE. The role includes developing and delivering a training program for daily control room operations and ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards.

You will lead small teams, coordinate initial and recurrent trainings, and produce regular management reports while maintaining staff morale in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School + 2 or more years prior experience as a Traffic Monitoring Operator or other related experience.
• Ability to work a highly flexible schedule to meet the training needs within a 24/7/365 operation with rotating schedules.
• Driver’s license is in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and responsibilities of assigned shift personnel in a 24/7 operation.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training program for daily control room operations.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Lead small teams to achieve objectives and maintain staff morale.
• Coordinate and track training for initial and recurrent certifications.
• Prepare and deliver reports on training status to management.
• Readily assume duties of Control Room Operator when needed.
