Job summary

AECOM seeks a Control Room Lead/Construction Coordinator to oversee the daily activities of 3–6 shift personnel in a 24/7 traffic operations center in Omaha, NE. You will ensure adherence to SOPs, coordinate incidents, and manage stakeholder communications with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will develop response plans for road projects, maintain staff schedules and training, and coordinate with local and state agencies. Knowledge of Nebraska road networks and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 2 or more years of related experience.
• Driver’s license in good standing.
• Preferred: demonstrated communications skills and scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of shift personnel in a 24/7 traffic operations center.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive response plans for roadway projects.
• Coordinate with local, regional and statewide stakeholders on control room activities.
• Log incidents, dispatch response crews, and monitor equipment and CCTV systems.
• Lead scheduling and training for staff; conduct post-incident analysis.
