AT&T Global Public Sector in McLean, Virginia, seeks a Tier 3 Network Engineer – Expert to support the 24x7 NOC. This role requires office presence and security clearance, delivering advanced troubleshooting and network service across LAN/WAN/Voice/Video environments.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and related routing protocols, plus familiar with Remedy, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds tooling; a total of 12 years of compatible experience or an equivalent degree

Qualifications

• Advanced networking qualifications including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, LAMBDA.
• LAN/MAN/WAN/Optical specialization.
• Familiar with common ticketing systems Remedy/ServiceNow and network tools such as SolarWinds/Netcool.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems.
• Strong understanding of OSI model and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, LDP).
• Total of 12 years of applicable experience (various degree/history combos)

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 support to the Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Support LAN/WAN/Intranet and Internet data communications systems.
• Monitor network to ensure availability and perform maintenance.
• Maintain network hardware and software.
• Proactively identify risks and mitigate them.
• Support telecommunications requirements (LAN, MAN, WAN, Voice, Video).
