Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Government GNOC Tier II Network Technician to support critical voice, video, and collaboration services for a government site in Springfield, VA. The role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph and 10 years of combined experience, with DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance is required.
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade and Foundry OS.
• Layer 1–3 network experience and MPLS expertise.
• Familiarity with Visio and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve network incidents on a 24x7 GNOC.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs and layer 3 routing across the enterprise.
• Troubleshoot MPLS across the WAN and coordinate hardware replacement as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and the network architecture team on new technologies.
• Support network operations and maintenance activities and participate in technical exchange meetings.
• Monitor and minimize recurring incidents using problem management best practices.
