Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer in Carmel, IN for on-site consulting. You will develop automated tests across web apps, APIs, SDKs, and services to ensure reliability and performance.

Collaborate with engineers and product teams to strengthen testing strategies and release readiness. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in software development or 3+ years in automated testing, experience with Selenium/Visual Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

1+ year of software development or 3+ years automated testing experience.
Experience developing/executing automated tests for web apps, APIs, or services.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Visual Studio.
Experience testing REST or SOAP APIs.
Experience writing and executing SQL queries.
Experience working in Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans, automated scripts, and test cases for web apps, APIs, SDKs, and services.
Build and maintain automated test suites for comprehensive coverage.
Perform UI, API, integration, performance, load, and regression testing.
Review requirements and documentation to create testing strategies.
Document and track defects and testing results.
