Job summary
The Mom Project seeks a Software Test Engineer on a contract basis in Carmel, Indiana, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on manual and automated testing across REST and SOAP APIs, UI automation with Selenium, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include test plan development, test execution, automation script maintenance, and QA contributions throughout the software development lifecycle. Degree in CS and testing experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1+ years development or 3+ years automated testing experience.
- Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience using Visual Studio and Selenium.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Understanding UI automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test suites (manual & automated).
- Perform functional, integration, API, and UI testing.
- Build and maintain UI automation frameworks and scripts.
- Execute API testing to validate application functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering to improve test automation and quality.
- Participate in Agile teams to support continuous testing.
