Job summary

Tekgence Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive manual UI testing and automated testing across web services. You will design and execute test plans, create test scripts with Selenium in C#, and perform API testing with Postman and performance testing with JMeter.

Strong Python skills and CI/CD familiarity are required. The role involves collaboration in an Agile Scrum environment, contributing to cloud-based deployments (AWS) and working with databases like Postgres and MySQL.

Qualifications

• Experience creating end-to-end test plans and test cases.
• Experience in automation and manual UI testing using Selenium with C#.
• Experience in API testing using Postman and performance testing using JMeter.
• Proficiency in Python coding and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end test plans, specifications and test case templates.
• Develop and document test plans and test specifications.
• Develop and execute test scripts using automated testing tools; document and summarize results.
• Facilitate defect tracking and test result reporting.
• Review requirements and user stories to derive test data and scenarios.
• Participate in system and regression testing; manage defects from detection to resolution.
