Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Welkom, specializing in the installation and maintenance of critical systems. You will perform installations, diagnose issues, and respond quickly to service calls while keeping detailed records and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong networking and system integration knowledge.
- Experience with on-site installations and SLA-driven support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the installation and setup of sophisticated technical systems at client locations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic support for complex hardware and software issues.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.
- Document all technical procedures, solutions, and customer interactions thoroughly.
- Train client personnel on proper use and basic maintenance of installed systems.
- Respond to critical service calls within defined SLAs.
