Job summary

BTECH, Inc. in Rockaway, New Jersey, seeks a Technical Product Support Specialist to support customers with hardware and software products. This on-site role requires solid electronics knowledge, strong troubleshooting, and clear communication.

You will provide remote and on-site training, handle tickets, and collaborate with Service, Monitoring, and Engineering teams to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Hands on experience using basic electronic test equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good interpersonal skills.
• High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a working knowledge of databases and computer networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and professional product support to customers via phone, email, ticketing system, and video conferencing (Teams/Zoom).
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BTECH's hardware and software offerings.
• Deliver remote and occasional on-site product training and field service support.
• Remotely install and configure BTECH software in customer environments.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams such as Service, Monitoring, and Engineering.
• Maintain expertise in BTECH's full product line and contribute to ongoing support documentation (manuals, bulletins, work instructions).
• Assist the Engineering team in testing and evaluating prototype hardware and software.
