Job summary

A managed IT services company in Pennsylvania is seeking a Hardware Technician who will be responsible for hardware repair and support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, with A+ certification preferred. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills are essential. This is an onsite role with working hours ranging from early morning to late night. The position is temporary, lasting 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Experience in computer hardware repair or computer support.
• Help Desk/Call Center experience preferred.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience in troubleshooting current Microsoft operating systems

Basic network knowledge

Education

6am or 7am - 2pm or 3pm & 5pm - 1am or 7pm - 3am

Job Description:

Education/Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Business, related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A+ Certification preferred
• Computer hardware repair or computer support experience
• Help Desk/Call Center experience preferred

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in troubleshooting current Microsoft operating systems and Office applications
• Basic network knowledge of networks and network systems
