Job summary

Modern IT is seeking a Technical Alignment Manager based in La Verne, CA to conduct scheduled technology reviews, inspect environments against standards, and document findings with actionable recommendations. The role includes on-site visits, client-facing deliverables, and active participation in an on-call rotation.

You will work with ConnectWise, IT Glue, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365/Azure to produce clear evidence-backed deliverables and maintain client records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience in an MSP or equivalent environment.
• Experience reviewing real environments against defined standards and documenting gaps and risks.
• Strong technical writing, organization, and ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule technology reviews and inspect networks, servers, endpoints, and security controls against standards.
• Record evidence, gaps, and verification results; complete scorecards and client checklists.
• Provide clear, business-focused findings and recommendations to the vCIO for planning and reviews.
• Maintain accurate client configuration records and SOPs in IT Glue and SharePoint.
