Job summary

Modern IT is seeking a Technical Alignment Manager in La Verne, CA to partner with MSP clients, review environments against standards, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. This on-site, full-time role includes client visits and on-call rotation.

You will document evidence, produce scorecards, and drive follow-through with clear ownership and next steps, while communicating with business stakeholders in plain language.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on infrastructure experience in an MSP or equivalent environment.
• Direct experience reviewing environments against defined standards, documenting gaps and risks.
• Strong technical writing and ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled technology reviews of client environments against approved standards.
• Document evidence, gaps, and actions; complete scorecards and client checklists.
• Explain business impact of gaps and drive remediation with clear ownership and next steps.
• Maintain accurate client configuration records and SOPs in IT Glue and SharePoint.
• Explain findings in plain language to the vCIO and contribute to standards library.
