Smart City Networks is seeking a full-time, on-site Technical Customer Representative at the Greenville Convention Center. The role combines customer service with hands-on technical support for network installations, troubleshooting, and on-site operations during events.

You will set up and maintain connections, assist with service desk tasks, manage inventory, and work evenings/weekends as needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support during events.
• Respond to inquiries, process requests, and collect payments.
• Assist with service desk operations at show sites.
• Input data and generate reports using proprietary software.
• Manage inventory and assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Translate event schematics into real-world network installations.
• Install and test copper and fiberoptic cables, patch panels, and jumpers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support clients during setup and takedown.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
