Job summary

GSP Marketing Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the IT for our Lenexa, KS location. You will own the local network, servers, desktops, printers, and software used in production and office operations.

The role covers site IT as well as company-wide cloud and security tasks, triaging requests and guiding upgrades. It is a hands-on position requiring comfort from deskside support to server room duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience covering desktop support, systems administration, and networking.
• Experience as the main IT resource for a site or small team preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, printing, or production environments is a plus.
• Technical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns IT at the Lenexa site, including network, servers, desktops, printers, and site software.
• Build, configure, and maintain on-site servers, including patching, backups, and hardware replacement.
• Manage the location network, switches, firewalls, wireless, cabling, and internet connectivity.
• Install, configure, and support location software, including production and print-related apps.
• Oversee IT equipment lifecycle, inventory, setup, and retirements; advise on purchases.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve site issues.
