Qualifications

• Experience performing supplier process audits.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience in documenting inspections and non-conformances.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of special processes management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assess supplier processes through data analysis, process audits, and product inspections
• Promote supplier performance and process improvement opportunities by providing detailed reports and briefings to suppliers, program offices, external customers, and government representatives
• Conduct thorough product inspections, identifying and recording defects as required
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) including: issuing SCARs with sufficient detail to define findings; identifying root causes in collaboration with the supplier; defining corrective actions and implementation plans with the supplier; ensuring SCAR closure through verification and validation of corrective action implementation
• Act as the customer's advocate when quality issues are detected, ensuring concerns are properly addressed
