Job summary

GM Hill Engineering seeks a highly skilled Superintendent (Triple Hat) to lead on-site field operations on federal construction projects in the United States. The role combines Superintendent, SSHO, and QAQC responsibilities, with EM 385-1-1 standards knowledge and experience on USACE projects.

The candidate will manage safety, quality, and field operations, coordinate with PMs and clients, and ensure project milestones are met while maintaining strict safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10+ years in construction management, safety, or QA on federal projects ($1M–$5M+)
• OSHA 30 certification required or obtainable within 30 days
• USACE CQM-C certification required or obtainable within 30 days
• Strong knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards
• Proficient with Procore, RMS/QCS, MS Office, MS Project and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities with focus on safety, quality and schedule.
• Lead subcontractors and field teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Serve as SSHO, implement APP, run safety meetings, and produce AHAs.
• Act as QAQC representative, conduct inspections, manage submittals and QA/QC documentation.
• Write and submit daily safety and quality reports using Procore and RMS/QCS.
• Coordinate permits, resolve jurisdictional issues, and manage logistics.
• Conduct QC meetings with subcontractors and project teams.
• Monitor site safety through daily walks and weekly meetings.
• Maintain strong communication with PMs, subs and clients.
• Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, and punch lists.
