Job summary

Medtronic in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Sr. Operations Scheduler to join our on-site Operations Scheduling team. You will partner with Master Production Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, engineering and manufacturing to manage value stream planning, work orders, and material availability.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in supply chain planning; knowledge of SAP, Factoryworks and Blue Yonder is preferred. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of Supply Chain Planning experience, or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
• Proficiency with SAP, Factoryworks and Blue Yonder is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure timely flow.
• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and disruptions to optimize costs.
• Schedules equipment and personnel and issues work orders based on master production schedule.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with QA, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and logistics.
• Monitors scheduling metrics such as schedule adherence, backlog and forecasting.
