Job summary

Medtronic in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Sr. Operations Scheduler to join the on-site Operations Scheduling team.

You will partner with Master Production Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, Engineering and Manufacturing to manage value stream planning, work orders, and production priorities. This role emphasizes scheduling KPIs, SAP-based MRP data, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely materials and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant Supply Chain Planning experience, or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Access and Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP, Factoryworks and Blue Yonder.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control production schedules to meet requirements.
• Advise management on material availability and inventory levels.
• Schedule equipment and personnel and issue work orders.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with QA, Purchasing, Engineering.
• Support value stream planning and MRP master data in SAP.
• Troubleshoot material scheduling issues.
• Participate in tiered meetings and communicate material availability.
• Collaborate daily with manufacturing and cross-functional partners.
• Monitor scheduling KPIs like adherence and backlog.
