Job summary

Midway Staffing, Inc. in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to be the face of the company on the floor and at the branch.

You’ll source, screen, and interview candidates, matching them to roles so placements stick, while keeping timesheets accurate and payroll in order. You’ll work Monday–Friday, on-site at a key account and at the branch for recruitment support, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and moving metrics like fill rate and attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Availability for earlier start times on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Comfortable running in-person and phone interviews with sharp attention to detail.
• Detail-oriented with timesheets and data entry.
• Proficient with Microsoft and/or Google Suite; ATS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build real relationships with employers and job seekers; become the first name they think of for staffing.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates and match them to roles so placement sticks.
• Maintain payroll accuracy by owning timesheet accuracy week after week.
• Partner with recruiters and Branch Manager on hiring strategy and recruitment drives.
• Keep ear to the ground on Des Plaines market to stay ahead of needs.
