Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is recruiting for an experienced AP leader for a fast-growing healthcare operator based in Rosemont, IL. This new seat will oversee accounts payable across a multi-entity organization, directing a Director of AP and three associates to drive efficiency and accuracy.

You will own DPO metrics, close the AP workflow, manage accrual timing with Accounting, and advance intercompany reconciliations, with a focus on automation and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of progressive AP experience.
• People leadership, including leading leaders or a growing team.
• Multi-entity AP, intercompany, and close experience.
• A track record of automating and improving AP workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• AP for a multi-entity organization, with a Director of AP and three associates.
• Days payable outstanding (DPO) by entity: calculation, analysis, and monthly reporting, including the why when it runs long.
• A continuous-close mindset in AP, and leading the AP side of month-end.
• Accrual timing with Accounting so expenses land in the right period.
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Strong internal controls.
• Vendor master integrity with Procurement, plus vendor relationships and negotiations.
• Process improvement and AI automation as the company grows.
