Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance on a Snyder, TX jobsite. The role emphasizes safety, learning, and hands-on servicing of solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical training is a plus.
• Basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system understanding.
• Ability to safely perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for training and site coverage.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices on site.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling on solar plants.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision and document work.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and coordinate with EPC management on improvements.
