Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar projects across the United States. This on-site role serves a Southeast portfolio, with rotations every 3-4 weeks to Baconton, GA; East Dublin, GA; Harrodsburg, KY.

Salaried, $80,000–$100,000 annually, with variable pay options, and visa sponsorship not offered. As part of our field team, you will coordinate inspections, manage RFIs, verify designs, and maintain drawings while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• UAS/drone operation experience or license.
• Field engineering, project engineering, or construction management in renewables or oil & energy.
• Leadership experience.
• Experience communicating in multilingual environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with local, county, and state AHJs.
• Create First Article Inspections to verify design conformance.
• Document and maintain construction drawings and red-lines.
• Manage RFIs between construction, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams to their scopes of work.
• Review construction material submittals.
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets.
• Maintain storm water logs and remediation actions.
• Collaborate to manage project constraints with PM, engineering, and construction teams.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress and issues.
