Job summary

Westlake Financial is hiring a Charged-Off Collector in Dallas, on-site, to manage and recover charged-off accounts. You will contact customers, negotiate payment plans, perform skip tracing, and maintain detailed records while meeting daily and monthly goals.

Ideal candidates have a strong skip-tracing background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and at least 2 years in automotive finance. Overtime and weekend work may be required; confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive finance industry.
• Strong skip-tracing ability to locate customers and collateral.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and state/federal collection laws.
• Proficient with computer systems and web-based skip-tracing tools.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via outbound and inbound calls to arrange payment solutions.
• Negotiate payment plans based on customer circumstances.
• Conduct extensive skip tracing to locate customers and collateral.
• Maintain accurate records of activity and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure confidentiality of company operations and data.
