Job summary

Storion Energy seeks a Day Shift Supervisor to oversee on-site production at the Alpharetta, GA facility. You will lead a floor-based team, ensure safe execution of daily schedules, coach operators, and solve problems in real time while expanding with new products and lines.

You will manage shift start-ups, maintain accurate records, and drive improvements through 5S and standard work to support future stack assembly and process expansion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• 5+ years in chemical, industrial, or process manufacturing; 2+ years leading a crew.
• Hands-on experience with hazardous or corrosive chemicals and PPE requirements.
• OSHA general industry knowledge including lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space.
• Able to read P&IDs and operate around pumps, tanks, valves, and instrumentation.
• Forklift experience with current certification or recertification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily production schedule and assign staffing/equipment to meet plan.
• Own throughput, yield, and schedule attainment; escalate deviations with cause and impact.
• Lead shift start-up and handoff; document equipment status and issues.
• Maintain shift records on-site; ensure accurate documentation and traceability.
• Support stack assembly as site expands; supervise electrolyte and stack production.
• Train, coach, and qualify operators; manage timekeeping and PTO coverage.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering on preventive work and breakdowns.
