Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions seeks a Day Shift Supervisor to oversee production operations from 5:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Thursday, ensuring safety and quality on the line. You will manage shift staffing, training, attendance, and handoffs with the Production Manager, and drive continuous improvement in output while maintaining a clean, compliant work area.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead teams under pressure.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Stamping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervises production operation to drive accountability and meet plant goals.
Drives a safety-first culture on the shift.
Manages shift schedule including workstation assignments/rotations, training, attendance, breaks, overtime, and back-ups.
Ensures quality control and rejects non-conforming product.
Coordinates with other Shift Supervisors and Production Manager for hand-offs.
