Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC seeks a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial food equipment. The role requires following safety guidelines, on-call duties, and occasional after-hours work.

You will interpret schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to a high-quality customer experience while upholding company safety standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years electrical and mechanical experience, or
• HVACR service experience with EPA certification, or
• Vocational certificate in HVACR accepted

Responsibilities

• Install and assist in advanced installs of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair basic mechanical equipment for customers.
• Follow schematic diagrams and operating sequences.
• Complete preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Follow Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
• Support financial objectives by delivering a quality customer experience.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services.
• Responsible for company assets including vehicle, tools, and inventory.
