Job summary

The Ward Law Group, PLLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our Miami Lakes team. This on-site role manages pre-litigation and litigation matters, guiding cases from intake through resolution.

You will develop case strategy, counsel clients, negotiate settlements, oversee litigation, and advance cases through all stages of representation. You will supervise 6–10 Case Managers, maintain KPI compliance, and ensure quality control while handling motor vehicle accident cases.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 3+ years of personal injury / motor vehicle accident experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Leadership ability and self-starter mindset.
• Excellent writing and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid Caseload Management: handle both pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters and progress through representation stages.
• Case Management: manage cases from intake to settlement with strategy, documentation, and compliance.
• Case Progression: oversee approvals, releases, and guide clients through the lifecycle of a case.
• Document Preparation: draft pre-litigation documents such as demands and settlement packages.
• Settlement Negotiations: prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements with carriers.
• Team Leadership: supervise 6–10 Case Managers and ensure KPI compliance and quality control.
• Client Interaction: conduct statements, prepare for EUOs, and prepare for 50-h hearings.
• Practice Focus: primarily personal injury cases, especially motor vehicle accidents.
