Delta ModTech seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to transform customer requirements into production‑ready designs for custom web converting, coating, and automation systems. You will lead cross‑functional teams from concept to implementation and directly engage with customers to ensure robust, innovative solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in mechanical/automation design, strong 3D CAD skills (Inventor), and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering high‑quality results on time

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical design or automation design experience in custom machinery.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical work and coordinating design teams.
• Strong 3D CAD skills with Inventor and AutoCAD 2D.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to apply engineering judgment and hand calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical design efforts from concept through implementation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to meet requirements.
• Develop machine layouts, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs.
• Source and integrate purchased components and vendors as needed.
• Lead internal/external design reviews and on‑site deployment.
