Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on hazardous waste and environmental compliance experience.
• Chemical management and Hazard Communication expertise.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel up to 30% to Carol Stream site.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of site EHS programs across shifts.
• Develop, maintain, and improve EHS programs, procedures, and training.
• Partner with site leadership to ensure accountability for safe work practices.
• Oversee the site EHS budget for compliance and safety initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and CAPA management.
• Conduct safety walkthroughs and audits; coordinate follow-up actions.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, and regulatory reporting.
