Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Augusta, GA is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team. You will design and operate Linux-based infrastructure, automate deployments, and manage cloud and edge environments on AWS and on-premise platforms.

The role requires DoD 8140/8570 certifications or the ability to obtain them, strong scripting in Python/Bash/Go, and experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and AWS. On-site work five days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux, including system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment of infrastructure.
• Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and other development tools.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (Security+) or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to work on customer site in Augusta, GA 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary
• Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure
• Other duties as assigned
