Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Service Technician to support its customer base on site in Davenport, IA, servicing security systems at various local locations. You will use customer service skills to troubleshoot current systems and enable cell phone access to the company app.

The role requires hands-on installation, repair and setup of devices (cameras, alarms, networks) and travel between sites daily. A valid driver's license and some technical training are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with CCTV, Card Access, or residential low voltage.
• Current valid State Driver's License.
• Familiar with power and hand tools.
• Customer service skills and professionalism over the phone and in person.
• Ability to work under general supervision at multiple sites daily.
• Hands-on installation, repair, troubleshooting or setup of security devices.
• Some technical school training.
• Prior experience servicing electrical systems.
• Prior sales experience with upselling opportunities.
• Sheriff Card
• Prior ADT experience.

Responsibilities

• Service security systems at various local locations on-site.
