Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Colonial Heights, Virginia site. This full-time role oversees the on-site security operation, including staffing, training, and ensuring contract compliance to deliver high-quality service for the client.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of 17.40 and a standard Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm shift. Applicants must have at least six months of security experience and be able to pass required state licensing and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass state-required training and licensing where applicable.
• Pass state licensing test if driving company or client vehicle.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience in security.
• Associate degree or higher in any discipline.
• 18+ (21+ if armed).
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for all Allied Universal personnel assigned to the site.
• Ensure contract training and screening requirements are met.
• Maintain overtime to a minimal level as designated by AUS.
• Inspect security personnel and performance during shifts for contract compliance.
• Handle payroll, incident reports, and security surveys/post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions for those under supervision; respond to client requests.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates regarding duties; manage disciplinary actions.
• Suggest productivity and cost reduction improvements; propose post orders.
