Job summary

Denali Universal Services is seeking a Security Sergeant for ConocoPhillips Plaza in Bartlesville, OK. The role oversees security officers on shift, assigns posts, and coordinates incident reporting and discipline per client requirements.

The position requires a high school diploma, security license, and 1–2 years in security or related fields. Rotational schedule, full-time, with strong leadership and communication skills expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of prior experience in military, law enforcement, corrections, or private security
• Valid driver’s license
• State Unarmed Security Officer License, licensing requirements subject to state/local laws
• Maturity of judgement and behavior
• Ability to lead with professionalism, respect and integrity at all times
• Ability to teach and train others
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong decision making and incident/event management skills
• Background check, drug screen, and post-offer physical evaluation required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security operations at the job site for the assigned shift
• Oversee and enforce security procedures for officers and tenants
• Act as shift supervisor and be responsible for officers’ actions
• Schedule personnel and coordinate staffing adjustments
• Assign officers to different posts
• Train officers on duties and responsibilities
• Inspect and evaluate officer performance and progress
• Ensure officers are fit for duty and properly equipped
• Conduct investigations of unwanted visitors, incidents, and safety concerns
• Ensure incident reports and paperwork are completed by shift end
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and gear and report deficiencies
• Provide coaching, feedback, and discipline within policy
• Respond to emergencies and maintain composure in stressful situations
• Promote a respectful and professional workplace
• Ensure safety programs are followed
• Attend required training programs
