Job summary

Denali Universal Services is seeking a Security Officer at ConocoPhillips World Headquarters in Houston, TX. The role requires patrols, access control, incident response, and adherence to safety procedures.

The schedule is rotational: 1 week on / 1 week off, with on-site responsibilities at the Houston location. The position emphasizes professional conduct, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• State Unarmed Security Officer License (or ability to obtain).
• Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to complete a criminal background investigation, drug screen, and post-offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute post orders, enforce policies, rules and regulations.
• Provide security-related customer service and emergency response.
• Guard property against damage, theft, and unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols by foot or vehicle.
• Control site ingress/egress: check IDs, authorize admittance, verify property removal.
• Process visitors and produce access badges per procedures.
• Open/close perimeter gates and monitor gate/post activity.
• Respond to incidents and communicate over radio as needed.
• Maintain high standards of work areas and appearance.
• Attend required safety meetings and training.
