Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals in Redford, MI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy in a school-based setting. This on-site contract position supports students with speech and language needs and aligns with IEP goals.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop and monitor treatment plans, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists while maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active MI SLP license and ASHA CCCs preferred.
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies.
• Ensure services align with state and federal special education regulations.
