Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based, on-site contract in Dearborn, MI. The SLP will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and support students with speech and language needs within IEP frameworks.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, MI SLP license (ASHA CCCs preferred), and strong collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active MI SLP license and ASHA CCCs preferred.
• School-based experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies.
• Ensure services align with state and federal special education regulations.
