Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Redford, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is on-site and involves working with elementary to high school students with a manageable caseload.

You’ll provide direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP-driven services, with collaboration across educators and families to support communication outcomes in the school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active or eligible for Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• Michigan Department of Education certification or credential for school-based practice, as required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) candidates may be considered, with supervision.
• Experience working with children; school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the IEP process and special education services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in small groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and monitor individualized IEP goals.
• Evaluate progress and adjust intervention based on data.
• Provide consultation to teachers, staff and families.
• Support AAC users and diverse communication needs.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation meetings, and teamwork.
