Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract (Sept 1, 2026 – June 16, 2027) to support ASD students across elementary, middle and high schools near Redford, MI. Typical hours are 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, providing push-in and direct services within a K-10 caseload.

You will collaborate with teachers, attend IEP meetings, maintain documentation, and deliver interventions to support communication growth in diverse classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid SLP license for Michigan or be eligible for licensure.
• CCC or CFY status.
• Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred.
• ASD populations familiarity and push-in therapy preferred.
• Experience managing a K-10 caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver push-in and direct speech therapy services across three school buildings (elementary, middle, high school).
• Provide direct and consultative support for 35-40 students, grades K-10.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation.
• Adapt interventions to meet individual and group needs.

In this dynamic role, you will:

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid SLP license for Michigan or eligible for licensure
• Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings is highly valued
• Familiarity with ASD populations and providing push-in therapy strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing a diverse K-10 caseload
