Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company seeks a Senior Finance Analyst for Sales Accounting & Commissions at its Global Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. This role oversees sales accounting, AR reconciliations, commission accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls within the Order-to-Cash process.

Responsibilities include month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, commissions processing, and financial reporting while supporting process improvements and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years accounting or finance experience required.
• MS Office with proficiency in Excel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close Activities: Prepare and upload journal entries supporting the monthly financial close.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete and maintain monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Commissions: Calculate, validate, and issue sales commission payments for third party agencies.
• Financial Reporting and Issue Resolution: Monitor sales reporting and analytical results; coordinate with IT to resolve issues and prepare reports.
• Respond to requests from Audit/Tax relating to customer incentives.
• Drive process improvements to enhance accrual accuracy and streamline systems and processes.
