Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the Project Team in maintaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) on Salt Lake City projects.

This on-site role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and assisting with the development of the Project Safety Roadmap. You will collaborate with leadership to deliver safety training, conduct site orientations, and drive continuous improvement through toolbox talks and daily

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• CPR/FA certification (Trainer preferred).
• STS and STSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safety planning with field leadership.
• Conduct daily field safety walks and log observations.
• Develop project-specific corrective action plans with supervision.
• Provide coaching for safe/unsafe behaviors and recognition for safe practices.
• Assist with site safety orientations for new personnel.
