Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Safety Specialist - Energy to join the Henderson, TX project team.

The role focuses on supporting the Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations on the project site. You will work with the Project Safety Manager and Area Safety Manager to develop and maintain a robust Project Safety Roadmap, while coaching crews, conducting safety meetings, and driving continuous safety improvements

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction certified.
• CPR/FA certification (Trainer preferred).
• STS and STSC certifications preferred.
• 0–2 years of construction safety experience (electrical safety preferred).
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating safety program effectiveness through field walks and observations.
• Support project safety plans and corrective action execution.
• Provide feedback to leadership on safety improvements and recognition.
• Coach employees on safe behaviors and recognize safe practices.
• Assist with site safety orientations for new hires.
