Vylor, Inc. in Johnston, IA is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead environmental, health, safety, and security programs at our production facility. The role partners with site leadership, employees, contractors, and visitors to build and sustain a strong safety culture and ensure compliant operations.

You will manage EHS incidents from investigation to follow-up, coordinate training for workers, and maintain permits and records while supporting continuous improvement and budget planning.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing/operations, agriculture, training or safety related experience and/or education.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for all levels of the workforce.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the implementation and execution of safety, health, environmental and security programs at the site.
• Collaborate with site leaders, contractors and visitors to promote a strong safety culture.
• Identify and address unsafe acts through line walks, audits and risk assessments.
• Lead incident management with proper response, investigation and follow-up.
• Ensure safety training for full-time and contingent workers and visitors.
• Maintain EHS records, permits and compliance documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce risks and prevent incidents.
• Engage with regional EHS partners and stakeholders to deliver programs.
• Develop and manage the annual site safety budget.
