Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking an Experienced Site Safety Professional to define the future of safety in partnership with Corporate Safety. You will lead on-site safety efforts for BMS installation and commissioning, enforce policies, and mentor teams across electrical projects.

Required are a Bachelor’s in safety/OHS or related field and at least five years in safety management, with OSHA 30 and CSP certifications preferred. Relocation and travel are possible on large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, OHS, Environmental Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in electrical installations, construction or commissioning environments.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety standards.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Instructor, NFPA 70E, First Aid, MEWPS certified instructor and other pertinent curriculum.
• Advanced Safety Certification (CHST, STSC, ASP or CSOP) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with corporate safety leadership and maintain accountability to project and corporate safety leadership.
• Lead all on-site safety efforts ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA and company safety policies.
• Develop, implement and enforce safety policies and site safety plans for all stages of installation and commissioning.
• Identify hazards and develop action plans to mitigate risks.
• Manage Daily Hazard Analysis (DHA) on site to ensure 100% participation.
• Lead investigations of accidents or incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure safety protocol adherence.
• Provide weekly safety updates to project leadership and corporate safety.
• Deliver safety training programs for internal teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain documentation of trainings, incidents and compliance.
• Remain current on industry safety practices and technologies.
