Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking an Experienced Site Safety Professional to define the future of safety in collaboration with Corporate Safety. You will lead all on-site safety efforts, develop and enforce site safety plans, and ensure adherence to OSHA/NFPA standards across BMS installation and commissioning projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field, 5+ years in safety management, and advanced safety certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety, OHS, Environmental Science or related field; or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years in a safety management role, preferably in electrical installations or construction.
Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards.
Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, OSHA 500, NFPA 70E, First Aid, MEWPS instructor.
Advanced Safety Certification (CHST, STSC, ASP or CSOP) - REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site safety efforts, ensuring compliance with OSHA/NFPA standards and company policies.
Develop and enforce safety policies and site-specific safety plans for all phases of installation and commissioning.
Coordinate with Corporate Safety Manager on safety-related decisions affecting company policies.
Regularly review and update safety protocols to align with regulations and project demands.
Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance; lead investigations of accidents or incidents.
Deliver safety training programs for internal teams and subcontractors; document certifications and incident reports.
Report safety issues and recommendations to project and corporate leadership; manage DHA program on-site.
Oversee safety during commissioning and electrical hazards control; provide weekly safety updates to leadership.
Relocation is expected; maintain readiness for project assignment changes.
