Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking an Experienced Site Safety Professional to define the future of safety across our projects, in partnership with Corporate Safety. You will lead all safety efforts on-site for BMS installation and commissioning, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to NFPA 70E standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, 5+ years in safety management, OSHA 30 and CSP or higher certifications, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, OHS or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in electrical installations, construction, or commissioning environments.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety standards.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Instructor, NFPA 70E, First Aid, MEWPS certified instructor and other pertinent curriculum.
• Advanced Safety Certification (CHST, STSC, ASP or CSOP) - REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with corporate safety leadership and maintain accountability to project and corporate safety leadership.
• Lead all on-site safety efforts to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and internal safety guidelines.
• Develop, implement and enforce safety policies and site safety plans for all project phases.
• Coordinate with Corporate Safety Manager on safety-related decisions impacting company policies.
• Regularly review and update safety protocols to align with regulations and project needs.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training programs for internal teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure timely reporting of safety incidents to project leadership and clients.
• Manage safety documentation and certifications for personnel.
• Relocation and up to 25% travel may be required.
