Job summary

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer for the Lake City Microgrid and CHP project in Independence, MO. This full-time, project-based role requires on-site presence with some remote pre-mobilization coordination.

You will administer APP/AHA records, conduct daily inspections, manage incident reporting, and coordinate safety across lifts, excavation, electrical, hot work, and gas/LPG activities, escalating hazards as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industrial construction safety experience and training appropriate to the applicable contract and EM 385-1-1 edition; OSHA 30 and first aid/CPR preferred at application, with required credentials verified before site assignment.
• Safety training and experience sufficient for the role-specific contract requirements and applicable EM 385-1-1 edition.
• Ability to maintain field coverage and accurate incident and training records.
• Ability to meet the applicable installation access, safety, information-handling, and assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer project safety plans and activity hazard analyses with trade supervisors.
• Inspect excavation, confined space, rigging, work at height, energized electrical, hot work, pressure tests, gas and LPG activities.
• Lead orientation, toolbox talks, incident/near-miss response, corrective action, and trend reporting.
• Review work plans and stop or engage unsafe activities under the approved safety authority.
• Coordinate safety staff to ensure coverage matches approved work and shift patterns.
